The memory of Melissa Duncan (Omaha, Nebraska), who passed away on September 21, 2025 at the age of 54, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her father Michael Settje; her husband William "Bill" Duncan; her sister Maegan Settje; and her granddaughter Kailey Lawson. She is survived by: her mother Donna Hernandez (Swanson); her children, Andrew Duncan Sr. (Ranae), William Duncan (Kylee) and MaryKate Duncan; her grandchildren, AJ Duncan, Sophia Duncan and Owen Duncan; her son Dwight Lawson (Heather); her granddaughter Claire Lawson; her stepfather Johnny Hernandez; and her siblings, Dominic Settje, Michael Settje (Susan) and Shara Rodriguez. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Elks Lodge (6410 S 96th St, Omaha, NE 68127).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family in support of end-of-life expenses.
