He is survived by: his children, Jordan Brooks (Claire) of Waterloo, NE, Jacob Brooks (Hanna) of Omaha, NE, Charlotte Haney of Dallas, TX, Shannon Brooks of Dallas, TX and Brandy Currence (Jack) of Dallas, TX; and his siblings, Brian Brooks (Melissa) of Dallas, TX, Scott Brooks of Denver, CO and Beth Weaner (Rick) of Houston, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Nebraska Masonic Home (1300 Avenue D, Plattsmouth, NE 68048).
