He is survived by: his children, Jason Bickler of Phoenix, Arizona and Cherise Wry (Nick) of Bennington, Nebraska; his siblings, Annita Chiariello (James) of Atlanta, Georgia, Yvonne Harrison of Scottsdale, Arizona, Ray Bickler of Tempe, Arizona, Steve Bickler (Linda) of Minot, Louis Bickler (Karla) of Bismark and Peter Bickler (Misty) of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Alayna and Gabriel; and his great grandchild Hudson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

Memorial donations have been designated to the Alzheimer's Association.
