Nicandro was predeceased by: wife Patricia; parents, Maximino Barraza and Tomasa Barraza; and sister Guadalupe Mata. Nicandro is survived by: children, Connie Flowers, Tina Biggerstaff, Virginia Sandoval (Ruben), Linda Valadez (Juan) and Martin "Max" Barraza. Nicandro is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Korisko Larkin Staskiewicz Funeral Home (5108 F St, Omaha, NE 68117). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (2310 O St, Omaha, NE 68107).
