He is survived by: his parents, Michael Slattery and Judy Slattery; his siblings, Christopher and Kaitlin; and his pet Luna. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be directed to the American Diabetes Association or to the family for further designation.
