As Norman departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Norman may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Norman leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Loretta Custard and Elmer Custard; his close friends, Bill and Shirley Neville; and his children, Kevin and Kelly.
Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church or to Omaha Public Schools Foundation (for a softball scholarship in Norman's honor at North High School).
