We announce the death of Norman E. Long in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 98. Norman will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Millicent Jean Wheeler; his parents, John J. Long and Cora M. Long; and his siblings, Harold, John Jr., Alfred, Donald and Barbara Irvin.
He is survived by: his daughter Leslie Long; his son-in-law Manuel Sosa Jr.; his nephews, David Irvin and Jaime Martin; and his niece Sharon Irvin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the All Saints Episcopal Church (9302 Blondo St, Omaha, NE 68134). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
