In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Orvil leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Orvil may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Bachmann. He is survived by: his children, Claudia Quigley (Jerry), Pat Bachmann (Sue), Brad Bachmann (Gale), Andy Bachmann (Bre), Kirk Bachmann (Terri), Becky Mays (Aaron) and Brenda Davenport (Vince). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (5419 N 114th St, Omaha, NE 68164). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (7909 Mormon Bridge Rd, Omaha, NE 68152).
