He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Neary and Raymond Neary of Omaha; and his siblings, Mary Helen Cassel, Jeanne Higgins, Margaret Beitenman, Charles Neary and John Neary.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Joseph Neary (Deborah), Patrick Neary (Anne Ginn), Jeffrey Neary (Kathleen) of Omaha, Julianne Engerman (Douglas) of Littleton, CO, Sarah Neary of Iowa City, IA and Jennifer Moylan (Joseph) of Oconomowoc, WI; and his grandchildren, Emily Engerman, Katherine Engerman, Margaret Parasch (Matthew), Grace Neary, Jack Neary, Charlie Neary, Owen Moylan, Brady Moylan and Tobias Moylan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
