He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Sr. Stigge and Philomena Stigge (Gladowski); his siblings, Marilyn Pospishal, Dorothy Vitek (Mel), Jeannine Klitz (Leonard), Walden Stigge, Gustav Jr. and Kenneth; and also Patricia.

He is survived by: his son Joshua Johnson (Kimberly); and his brother Rodney Stigge (Kay). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
