He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Julia; his siblings, Bernice Halsey (Donald) and William (Doris); and his brother-in-law Stanley Boukal.

He is survived by: his wife Joan (Grzywa); his sister Frances Boukal; and his children, Karen Kurcz (Mike Nowak), Jack (Patty), Mark (Judy Green), Dave (Dyna) and Tom (Candee). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews; and many treasured friends.
