He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughters, Liisa Laikko (Andrew Ellifson), Leah Flowers (Brandon), Chole Riedel (Timothy), Royce Forbush (Cody) and Kelsi Lemon; his brother Bruce Laikko (Teresa); his nephews, Joel Hentzen and Daniel Laikko; his niece Laura Laikko; his grandchildren, Brison, Brooklynn, Mason, Carter, Miles, Wesley, Drake, Rowen, Kennedy and Madison; and his friends, Mike, Liz Johnson and Crayton Lankford.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Munroe-Meyer Institute (https://www.mfdisabilities.org.) or Homeward Bound in the Heartland Animal Rescue (https://hbith.org).

“I am saddened to hear of Paul's passing recently. I attended high school with Paul at Columbia River High School in Vancouver, WA We ran together, in Cross Country for 3 years. Paul was a good runner and great addition to our team. Many times we sat next to each other, such as graduation, when seating was arranged in alpha order. Paul was taken too early Sending prayers of comfort to wife and family Ed LaLonde Classmate / teammate CRHS class of 1971”
