She was predeceased by: her parents, Nina Osani and Joseph Osani; her husband Tony of Patrick's Cathedral; her daughters, Elaine and Diane; and her siblings-in-law, Charlie Macchietto, Joe Macchietto, Rex Earl, Fran Macchietto and Anastasia Macchietto.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon; her son-in-law Joe Cooney; her granddaughters, Colleen Ballard (BJ) and Melissa Gregory (Kyle); her great grandchildren, Brock, Lucy, Mira and Ian; and her sisters-in-law, Celeste Earl and Edie Macchietto. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Memorials are suggested to Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo. Elephants were Paula's favorite animals and she often donated to their care.
