We are sad to announce that, on February 3, 2026, Phyllis Marie (Lewandowski) Spanel of Omaha, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Lewandowski and Maryanna Lewandowski (Rewolinski); her husband Robert W. "Bob" Spanel of Mary's Cathedral; her grandson Clark Spanel; her daughter-in-law Ronda Spanel; and her siblings, Leonard, Dennis, Henry, Ernest and Loretta Duester.
She is survived by: her sisters, Agnes M. Lewandowski of Chicago, IL and Louise Dietz of Fremont, NE. She is also survived by family include five sons and four daughters-in-law.
Memorials are suggested to St. Mary's Cathedral or Clark Spanel Memorial Scholarship Fund.
