She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Everett and Bonnie Ellen Drummond; her husband George Dutton; her children, Christina Erickson (Wayne), Jeffrey Welch (Beth) and Shirley Vaughan (Mark); her grandchildren, Martin Kueny (Crystal), Holly Welch Geringer (Chris), Norman Welch (Jessica), Brandon Erickson (Erin), Everett Welch (Kaila), Sean Erickson (Megan), Augustus Welch and Derek Vaughan; and her great grandchildren, Haley, Garrett, Zoe, Logan, Rylan, Lucy, Eloise, Chris Jr., Sam, Max, Rhett, Charlie, Calvin and Elise. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Phyllis' memory can be made to the American Cancer Society, an organization close to her heart.
