It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Duane Langhammer in Omaha, Nebraska, born in Shelby, Nebraska, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Richard Duane is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Richard Duane's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his sister Janet (Whitbeck). He is survived by: his wife Janet Jean Schroeder; his children, Carol Dahlseide (Blaine) of Bozeman, Montana and Mark (Helen) of Singapore; and his grandchildren, Alec, Katie, Lincoln, Oliver and Anne-Marie. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
