He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Kruse and Dorothy Kruse (Todd). He is survived by: his wife Barb Kruse; his siblings, Mari Japp (Bill) and Ron Kruse (Barb); his children, Denise Rayman (Bob), Dana Schmidt (Tim) and Todd Kruse; his grandchildren, Dani Landholm (Sam), Brett Rayman (Erica), Jared Schmidt, Claire Schmidt, Maggie Schmidt and Austin Kruse; and his great grandchildren, Barrett, Bristol Landholm, Quinn, Beau, Crew, Ivy Rayman and Charles Kruse.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Reichmuth Funeral Home - Omaha (21901 W Maple Rd, Elkhorn, NE 68022). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (14205 Ida St, Omaha, NE 68142). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Prairie View Cemetery (18613 Greene St, Washington, NE 68068).
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church, Omaha, NE or St. Paul Lutheran Church, Arlington, NE.
