He was predeceased by: his mother Bonnie Carpenter of Omaha, NE.; and his former wife Carole Carpenter. He is survived by: his father Raymond Carpenter; his wife Jean Carpenter; his children, Mark Carpenter of Ralston, NE, Susan Sneddeker (Mark Sneddeker) of Malcolm, NE and Sara Carpenter of Omaha, NE; his sister Marilyn Smith of Omaha, NE; and his stepsons, Spike Ebert and Steve Ebert. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
