It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rick North in Omaha, Nebraska, born in Carroll, Iowa, who passed away on October 3, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lorne North and Viola North (Osterlund); his former wife Sheila Rinn; his brother Robert North; his wife Pam Lathrop-North; his sister Janice Lea (Gene); his children, Lyndsey Zubarik (Kevin) and Corey North; his stepchildren, Emily O'Neill (David), Sarah Manion (James) and Scott Lathrop (Jessica); and his grandchildren, Alexander Zubarik, Madeline Zubarik, Connor O'Neill, Benjamin O'Neill, Samantha Lathrop, Ella Lathrop, Trip Manion and Calvin Manion. He was also cherished by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
