She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Mae Houston and Carl Houston; her husband Jerome Adams, Sr.; her children, Chelsey Adams, Jerome Adams Jr. and Ramsey J Adams; and her brother Carlos Houston.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Taira Carter (Tony) and Jalesa Harrison (Cameron); her great grandchildren, Carrington and Camden Harrison; her brothers, Kenny Adkins and James Adkins Jr.; and her pet Mister. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you donate to the American Cancer Society in Ritia's honor.
