He was predeceased by: his parents, Guilford Arden Doidge and Bessie Violet Kerger Doidge; his wife Cora Lee Doidge; his sister Reta Jean Woodward (Doidge); his stepson Billie Grindstaff; and his daughter-in-law Vicki Grindstaff.
He is survived by: his stepsons, David Grindstaff of St. Joseph, Missouri, Douglas Grindstaff (Larisa) of Southhaven, Mississippi, Terry Grindstaff (Dorothy) of La Vista, Nebraska and Paul Grindstaff of Crescent, Iowa; his daughter-in-law Laurene Grindstaff (Billie); his friend Betty Jean Sieborg; and his grandchildren, Kent, Tammy, Flicsha, Jacob, Adam, Joshua, Jonathan, Daniel, Richel, Aliya, Jesse, Rebecca, Terry, Jason, Matthew, Jared, Katie and Peaches. He is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.
