He was predeceased by: his parents, John Merl and Maurine Gregg Howell; his siblings, John Charles and Helen; his wife Betty; and his son Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Robert (Rob), Sandra and Diane; his former wife Barbara Greer; his grandchildren, David (Kristen), Elizabeth, Christopher (Tara), Nolan (Chelsea) and Jeff; his great grandchild Ila; his son-in-law Jeff West; his grandchildren, Thomas (MaryEllen) and Matthew; and also, Myriam and James. He is also survived by his three children, seven grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, one great-grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
