He was predeceased by: his parents, William Zimmerman and Mary Margaret Zimmerman (Dea); his children, Andrea and Jacob; and his siblings-in-law, Julie Fjare, Dan "Hippo" O'Connor, Henry "Hank" Morris, Jr. and Bob.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Zimmerman; his son Adam Zimmerman; his granddaughter Katryna Boelter of Omaha; and his siblings, Janet Burkhardt, Jim, Marilyn Lombardo (Tom) of Ralston, NE and Marcia O'Connor of Council Bluffs. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will direct memorial contributions for local art organizations.
