It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta Jane Henning (Omaha, Nebraska), born in Peru, Nebraska, who passed away on April 27, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Earl and Desta Ladema Applegate (Allgood); her husband Charles Henning; her son Gary; her grandson Daniel Eugene Henning; and her siblings, Earl, Marion, Stacy, Robert, Sidney, Vyril Adams, Ellen Allgood, Ruth Gfeller and Margaret Mangnall.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Henning of Phoenix, AZ, Alan Henning (Charlotte) of Wichita, KS, Fritz Henning (Shawn) of Wichita, KS, Larry Henning (Cindy) of Springfield, NE, John Henning (Jody) of Lincoln, NE, Eric Henning (Elizabeth) of Chicago, IL, Judy Peterson (Robert) of Carter Lake, IA, Janice Smith (Franklin) of Lincoln, NE and Jodie Ferguson (David) of Seattle, WA; her daughter-in-law Carol Henning of Cedar Rapids, IA; and her brothers-in-law, Johnilee Henning of Beatrice, NE and Jerry Henning (Barbara) of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
