She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ruby Fern Smotherman (Lewis) and Robert Smotherman; her siblings, Robert Smotherman and Linda Morgan; her stepparents, Vivian Smotherman and Lowell Peterson; her sons, Donnie Carpenter (Denise) of Rippey, IA and Billy Carpenter (Nicky) of Dawson, IA; and her grandchildren, Xavier, Zac Carpenter, Alex, Brittany Carpenter, Matthew Kinney (Sam), Jasmine McNeill (Matt) and Hunter Burkett (Melissa).
