She was predeceased by: her brother Steven Skocz; her parents, Leo Skocz and Laura Skocz; and her grandson Jacob Hurd. She is survived by: her husband Norman Thomas; her children, Michelle Hurd (Bill), Susan Thomas and Matthew Thomas; her sisters, Sharon Zeleny, Sandra Fisher (Dick), Marlene Cheshek (George), Barbara Tangerman (George) and Roberta Cheshek (Don); her grandchildren, Joe Hurd (Kristen), Josh Thomas and Siera Thomas; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Hurd and Taryn Hurd. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
