It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Elwood Macklem (Omaha, Nebraska), born in Homer, Nebraska, who passed away on April 3, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hurst Macklem and Eleanor Macklem (Belt); and his son Curtis. He is survived by: his children, Christopher (Estrella), Cindy (Mark), Joy (Justin) and Jon; his wife Joan Hunzeker; his grandchildren, David, Cristina, Travis, Tracy, Ty, Taryn, Ellie, William and Evan; and his brother Allan (Janet Jo). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
