He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Franklin and Marjorie Klynsma; his nephews, Adam and Gavin Klynsma; and his great-niece Emma Reitz.
He is survived by: his parents, Delano Horstman and Marla Horstman; his wife Cathy Horstman; his children, Jaclyn Williams (Kyle), Drew Horstman (Melanie), Zachary Horstman (Carly) and Marissa Horstman; his grandchildren, Kalyssa Williams, Ezra Horstman and Holland Horstman; and his siblings, Jeffrey Horstman (Linda) and Cheryl Bruckman (Charles).
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prairie Lane Church (3111 S 119th St, Omaha, NE 68144). A memorial service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Omaha National Cemetery (14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68138).
