He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Chase and Paul Kuhl; and his brother Charles. He is survived by: his wife Grace Goldbeck; his children, Stephen (Pia) of Omaha, Jennifer (Mike) of Omaha and Vincent (Kara) of Omaha; his grandchildren, Sean (Sarah) and Gabrielle; and his siblings, Joan, Charlotte, Jon, Mary, Kathy, Jerry and Deborah.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Siena Francis House.
