He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Fanning and Beulah Fanning (Watts); and his sister Marsha Lindeman. He is survived by: his daughters, Janelle Leann Holland (Jon) of Parkville, MO and Rhonda Lynn Fanning of Austin, TX; his grandsons, Keighan and Declan; and his nephew Kirk Wirth (Kimberly).

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Optimist Club of Council Bluffs.
