He is survived by: his sister Gail Alukonis (Gayland); and his children, Diane Poots, Linda Morrison, Dan Morrison (Kristie), Susan Schneider (Steven) and Christine Morgan (Caleb). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the John A. Gentleman Mortuary (14151 Pacific St, Omaha, NE 68154). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Omaha National Cemetery (14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68138).
