He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Montgomery and Anne Montgomery-Wade; and his siblings, Sutan "Luther" Montgomery, Jr., Marva Caponetti and Vonzella Montgomery.
He is survived by: his wife Nell Montgomery; his children, Ronald Montgomery Jr., Brooklynne Fuqua and Ashleigh Montgomery; his siblings, Tara Wade, Leon Montgomery-Wade, Donald Wade, Jr. and Raymond Wade; and his stepchildren, Frank Qualls, Jr., Anthony Qualls, Timothy Qualls and Rosalind Graham. He is also survived by grandchildren, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
