She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Steffen and Francis "Stub" Steffen; her brothers, Joe and Jeff Steffen; and her granddaughter Abby Hannesson.
She is survived by: her husband Boyde Galgerud; her children, Tammy Hannesson of Moorhead, Kevin Galgerud of El Segundo and Tom Galgerud of Papillion, Nebraska; and her sister Kathy Bonnichsen (Jim) of Fargo. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
