She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Norris and Clyde Norris; her husband Orville Thomsen, Jr.; her son Roderick Thomsen; and her brother Jerry Norris.

She is survived by: her daughter Kim Yost (Rich); her grandchildren, Kelli Ryan (Jason), Julie Monico (Nathan) and Brian Yost; her great grandchildren, Kadence, Clint, Madelyn, Gabriella, Myla, Charlotte and Cecilia; her brother Richard Norris (Norma); and her siblings-in-law, Penny Norris, Sharon Hanson and Terry Thomsen. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
