She was predeceased by: her parents, James McGary and Phyllis McGary; her grandparents, Mattie, John Sims, Leo McGary and Jessie Marie Delespine; her brother James "Jimmy" McGary Jr.; her uncles, Larry and Donald Sims; her cousins, Brenda Kay, Leon, Donald Jr. and Johnny Sims; Leo Hawkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jamesa, Mia and Cheyna; her grandchildren, NaTae'a, Tyshae, Ma'Raya, A'Shya, ShiLynn, Gregory, Anthony, Sariye, Elijah, Dyn, Ahnesty, Syrie and Samya; her great grandchildren, Ariya, Amarah and AshTyn; her siblings, Phillip (Marilyn) and Sheila; her close friends, Roxy and Regina (Omaha); and her former husband David Stennis (Omaha). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Funeral & Cremation Services - 90th (3809 N 90th St, Omaha, NE 68134). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
