In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Shirley leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Shirley may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Albert and Marjorie McCann (Hubbard); her husband Duane L. Joslyn; and her sons-in-law, Joseph Ross and Bruce Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Smith, Omaha of James Pamp, OK and Linda. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints (5217 N 54th St, Omaha, NE 68104). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
