She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Hoefs and Delores Hoefs of Pender, NE. She is survived by: her husband Tom McShane of Elkhorn, NE; her sons, Ian (Alicia) of Elkhorn and Max (Megan) of Lincoln, NE; her grandchildren, Easton, Maverick, Ezra, Brooks McShane and Rory McShane; her siblings, Roger Hoefs (Marlys) and Wanda Kelly (Ron) of Pender, NE; and her siblings-in-law, Martha and Todd Trautman of LaVista, NE. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and an uncountable number of friends.

Memorials may be made to the Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation or to St. Patrick's School in Elkhorn.
