She is survived by: her husband Ramon (Ray); her children, Mike Sophir, Marcie Klein (Mike) and John Sophir; her grandchildren, Griffin Klein, Zoe Klein, Jack Sophir and Erik Sophir; her brother Steve Sherman (Farel); her stepchildren, Ken Somberg (Carrie), Dan Somberg (Kelly) and Debra Somberg (Johannes Koch); and her grandchildren, Lindsay, Zach, Andrew (Nikki), Adam (Alexandra), Mika, Alexandra and Joshua.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the University of Colorado Foundation in honor of Dr. Breelyn Wilky, who provided exceptional care to Suzie during her cancer journey.
