With sadness, we share the passing of Susanne Shuler (Omaha, Nebraska). Susanne, born on November 11, 1947 in Tremonton, Utah, passed away on June 9, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Susanne Shuler to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Ruth and Gifford Watland; her parents, Shirley Matney and Thomas Matney; her brother Tom; her sister-in-law Carol Matney; and her nieces, Holly Linford, Robyn Smith, Kirchele Shuler and Kami Thornley.
She is survived by: her husband Alan Shuler; her children, Sheri Shuler (Nathan Morgan), Angel Burnside (Russ) and David Shuler (Susie); her grandchildren, Grayson, Gavin, Allison, Clara and John; and her sisters, Marianne Valenta (Frank) and Julie Weitz. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and countless dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Shuler Memorial Fund to carry on Sue's work with the Immigrant and Refugee Action Team at FUMC (fumcomaha.org).
