She was predeceased by: her father George Z. Bressler; her husband Dennis Steckelberg; and her siblings, Franklin Bressler (Lucille), Jeannette Giese (Wilbur), Marilyn Murray (Ray), Donnabeth Schwier (Lynn), Harvey Miller (Margaret) and Helen Albrecht.

She is survived by: her parent Venice H. Miller; her children, Tammy Sveum (Mike) of Elkhorn, NE, Tim Steckelberg (Tashia) of Zanesville, OH and Todd Steckelberg (Jacki) of Valley, NE; her grandchildren, Lauren Diedrichs (Austin), Bryon Steckelberg (Lea), Kylie Jensen (Lance), Andrew Steckelberg (Berline), Maile Steckelberg (Garrott) and Joshua Steckelberg; her great grandchildren, Levi and Elliott Diedrichs; and her brother-in-law Donovan Albrecht. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reichmuth Funeral Home - Omaha (21901 W Maple Rd, Elkhorn, NE 68022). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (4200 N 204th St, Elkhorn, NE 68022).
