He was predeceased by: his parents, Petrus of Vries and Tjitske of Haan; his brothers, Herman and Petrus; and his sister-in-law Catharina (Petrus).
He is survived by: his wife Gerda Bakker; his children, Yantiny and Petrus; his sister-in-law Cornelia (Herman) of Vries; his niece Nellie Costic (Alan) of Portland, Oregon; his children, Tina Ruff (Rolland) of Grand Junction, CO, Peter (Lori) of Vries, Karin Lebo (Ken) of Farmersville, OH and Christy Hinckley (Chris) of Leigh Acres, FL; and his grandsons, Luke Lebo (Sabrina) and Adam Lebo (Megan). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces and their children.
