Terrice C. Childress Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terrice C. Childress (Omaha, Nebraska), who passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Nolan Dooley Childress and Silas Allen Childress; and his siblings, Ira Allen Childress, Wilma Clyde Brummet, Winnie Louelle Corey, Grace Valeria Ethridge, Hugh Merle Childress, Thomas Lee Childress and Bessie Dretha Potwin.
He is survived by: his sister Linda Sue Childress Coleman; his sons, Jamie Childress (Heather) and Troy Childress; and his grandchildren, Robert, Sabrena and Tasia. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Omaha National Cemetery (14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68138).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Samaritan's Purse or Wounded Warrior Project, reflecting the kindness and generosity he showed throughout his life.
