He is survived by: his wife Laura; his mother Alma Stofferson; his brother Robert Stofferson; his sons-in-law, Eric Wicks, Christie Wicks, Becky Seibel, Craig Seibel, Katie Markloff and Tim Markloff; his grandchildren, Taylor, Brendan, Sophia, Brandt, Adeline Seibel, Jude Wicks, Olive Wicks and Maddie Markloff; his sibling's children, Lisa Butler, Jeff Butler, Sean, Lindsay, Brynna James, Lauren May and Heather Brady; and also, Linda James, Scott James, Leslie Brady and Mike Brady. He is also survived by his step-children, along with daughters.

“My name is Carol. I came to know Terry back in the mid/latter 80's while working at a hospital in Opelousas, Louisiana. We became fast and close friends. I've thought of Terry many times over the years. He left Louisiana for a position in Fresno, Ca. I missed him. It's not until this day Tues. Sept 15, 2020 that i learned of his passing. How and why is irrelevant. To his entire family and friends I offer my sincere condolences. Man did we do a lot of laughing in such a short time.”
