He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Hicks; and his siblings, James, Donald Hicks and Helen Mullin (Ray). He is survived by: his children, Alan Hicks (Lyn) of Milford, IA, Robin Hays (Mike) of Fort Calhoun, NE and Tom Jr. Hicks (Brenda) of Cypress, TX; and his sisters-in-law, Anna Hicks, Linda Moriarty and Ginny Herrmann. He is also survived by five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
