She was predeceased by: her adoptive parents, Vernon Bennett and Sybil Bennett; her birth mother Jan Weise; and her former husband Craig Morris. She is survived by: her parents, Vernon Bennett and Sybil Bennett (Johnson); her husband Foday Marenah of Omaha, Nebraska; her daughters, Chelsea Fox of Bates City, Missouri, Emily Fox of Kansas City, Missouri, Katie Morris of Omaha, Nebraska and Cassidy Morris; and her grandchildren, Adryian, Ari, Trae and Vera. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nishna Valley Funeral and Cremation Service (405 W Thomas Ave, Shenandoah, IA 51601). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Nishna Valley Christian Church (415 N Fremont St, Shenandoah, IA 51601).
