Valeria Rhoades Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Valeria Rhoades of Omaha, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 11, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlene Schuetz (Dudek) and Walter Schuetz; her husband Glenn Eldon Rhoades; her sister Esther Hampton; and her brother-in-law Bruce Hampton.
She is survived by: her sister Veda Mae Littlefield of Lexington, TN; her daughter Lynn Welborn (Jim) of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Nicole Toombs (Cody) of Savannah, MO, Tyler Welborn of Albuquerque, NM and Tristan Welborn (Ayana) of Albuquerque, NM; her nieces and nephews, Pam Wallace, Peggy Pinkerton, Morris Littlefield (Liz), Wallie Littlefield (Suzanne), Steve Littlefield (Jennifer) and Talana Patterson (Brad); and her great-niece Lana Suhr (David). She is also survived by friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Methodist Church (105 East E Street, McCook, NE 69001).
