With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera (Koch) D. Schettler (Omaha, Nebraska), who passed away on July 1, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Richard W. Koch; and her daughter-in-law Susan Koch. She is survived by: her husband Donald Schettler; her children, Scott Koch (Bernadette), Steven Koch (Patricia), Bruce Koch (Rita), Ann Vos (AJ Klein), Joseph Koch and Alice Steinauer (Michael); and her stepchildren, Dan Schettler, Patti Bendgen (Bob), Ron Schettler (Stacy) and Nancy Morgan (Jeff). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren.
