It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernitta M. Brown (Omaha, Nebraska), who passed away on October 14, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Vernitta was predeceased by: husband Bryan Brown; and parents, John Johnsen and Emelia Johnsen. Vernitta is survived by: sons, Darrell, Dwayne (Amy) and Dale Brown (Carol); grandchildren, Jacob, Karynn, Juliene and Maryssa Brown; and sister Gloria Nielsen.

Memorials may be directed to either Iowa Western Community College or Montana State University.
