It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veronica J. Steele of Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on November 26, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Whitaker and Helen Whitaker; and her husband Roderick Steele. She is survived by: her sons, Jim Steele (Laury Mahr), Chris Steele (Laurie) and Matt Steele; her grandchildren, Ben Steele (Kenzi), Drew, Noah, Maggie Steele, Lou Mason (Jennifer) and Kristen Steele; her great grandchild Parker Steele; and her siblings, Laurie Fuller (Scott) and Mike Whitaker (Linda). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and close friends.
