Virginia Veleba Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Veleba of Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on January 23, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Pawlowicz and Mary Pawlowicz; her husband Edwin Veleba; her son Terry Veleba; and her sisters, Louise Franco and Jean Osborne.
She is survived by: her stepfather Joseph Battaglia; her daughter Bridget Pacovsky (John); her daughter-in-law Barbara Veleba; her grandchildren, Michelle Strain (Scott) and Jeff Pacovsky; her great grandchildren, Austin and Brookie Strain; her sisters, Rose Marie King, Joan Foreman and Mertz; and her brother-in-law Fred Veleba (Jodie). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
